Ingredients for potato filling
- 5 to 6 boiled mashed potatoes:
- Juice of 1 lemon Finely chopped green coriander
- 1 tablespoon of rye
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Half a teaspoon of hing
- 8 to 10 sweet lemon leaves 8
- 1 to 1.5 teaspoons of green chili paste
- Half a teaspoon of turmeric
- Salt to taste

- 2 cups gram flour

- 1 teaspoon red chili

How to make Vadapavana |vadapav recipe
First of all we will prepare the potato stuffing. For this, heat oil in a pan. After heating the oil, add 1 teaspoon of rye, 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds, half a teaspoon of asafoetida, eight to ten sweet neem leaves and one to one and a half teaspoons of green chili paste and saute a little in the paste and oil.
Now add half a teaspoon of turmeric and mix it. Then add 5-6 boiled and pressed potatoes and mix it. Add salt to taste, juice of 1 lemon and a little more finely chopped green coriander and let these potatoes cook for two to three minutes.
After the potato mixture cools down, make medium size balls of it. Now we will prepare a smooth batter by adding half a teaspoon of turmeric, 1 teaspoon of red chili, salt as per taste and water as needed in two cups of chickpea flour for the potato head pudding.
Now dip the prepared potato balls in cucumber and fry in hot oil. Fry the potato head well from all sides. After this we will take it out on a tissue paper so that the excess oil will be absorbed.
Now let the butter melt in a pan. Now fry the garlic chutney of vada pav in this butter. Cut the pav in the middle and roast it well in this chutney. Now we will place the potato head in the middle of the pav. We will press the paw a little with the help of hand.
Again put some butter on the pan and roast the pav well from both sides. So that our vadapav will be crispy. Now famous Vadapav is ready to eat.
